The Coalition
Feature length screenplay
This screenplay was one of the final projects for my Screenwriting course. The task was to create a film taking place in South Africa; it could be any genre you wanted. I went with what I feel South Africa in general lacks: superheroes.
Venatore: Age of Darkness
TV show finale screenplay
For this project, I was tasked to write the finale for a fantasy TV show that I had created with my groupmates. This screenplay finishes season one of our non-existent TV show. Filled with blood, tears, and fantasy violence, it became one of my favourite projects.
The Flying Dutchman
Short Story
This short story was another one of my third-year projects. The task was to write a short story based on a South African myth or legend. I landed on the old tale of the ghostly red vessel cursed to sail forever and never port. I often find myself rereading this story of greed and betrayal whenever I want that spooky feeling.
